F333SP WINS AT LAS VEGAS
The F333SP of Wayne Taylor/Eric van de Poele won the second round of the USA Professional Sports Car Racing Championship. The victory may have been somewhat of a struggle because they finished only half a second ahead of the Panoz of David Brabham / Andy Wallace after four hours of racing. Even less flattering was the fact that there were several BMW M3s in the top six. The current split in the USA sport car racing world is clearly taking its toll in splitting the entries between rival series', somewhat akin to the worrying proliferation of GT and Sports Car series' in Europe.
