Upgrade For F333SP
The somewhat long-in-the-tooth F333SP sports racing car, which was developed over five years ago, is due for an engine upgrade at any time. Currently fitted with a 4.0 litre V-12, the engine will be stretched to 4.9 litres in an effort to keep up with the latest 4.0 litre Judd engine. The Judds are fitted to various sports racing chassis, including Lola and Riley & Scott.
Because of the air restriction regulations, it is unlikely that extra power will be produced but both the torque and the distribution of the torque throughout the rev range will be improved.
