F399 too fast...
...for its rear wing, which promptly fell off during early testing of the new car at Fiorano. It happened on only the second lap. Michael Schumacher was driving at the time and he spun harmlessly into a gravel trap.

Much speculation has ensued concerning the readiness of the F399. This resulted from the several-times delayed launch and there are even suggestions that the car presented at the launch was a dummy whilst work continued on the real one back at the factory.
