A brief press announcement was released today which says:

Ferrari announces that it has extended its agreement with the driver Rubens Barrichello to cover the 2003 and 2004 racing seasons.

This puts to an end speculation that a younger (and cheaper) driver might take over and provides further stability to the team that seems to be sweeping all before it. Barrichello's performances have improved significantly with the advent of the F2002 and Michael Schumacher was thought to be in favour of continuing the partnership with his team mate.
