You might think that the launch of the Enzo limited edition coupe is purely an image building exercise for Ferrari. But, in fact, the Enzo will make a lot of money for the Italian super-luxury sports car builder. The European price of the Enzo has been set at €665,000. Deducting sales taxes and an average dealer margin of 12%, every Enzo should generate €487,700 of revenue for Ferrari. For a limited run of 349 units, that totals more than €170 million. Ferrari said the Enzo's operating profitability will be slightly over the normal 15% of revenue - which means the new supercar would earn more than €25 million for the company.
