25 May 2003 For the seventh successive year, the Alfa Romeo Owners' Club Scottish Section invites all lovers of Italian cars to a small corner of God’s own county, Fife They return to the idyllic setting of Falkland Palace for a great day out. The historic village and the Lomond hills form the stunning backdrop to this well-attended event – the only one of its kind in Scotland. In five years the event has developed in line with the feedback from the visitors, who totalled around 800 last year. Displays range from the massed ranks of one make owners’ clubs to some very special individual cars, along with suitably relevant traders. There are generally around 150 cars on display from supercars – Ferrari, Maserati and Lamborghini – to the equally obsessive Fiat Cinquecento owners to the latest cars from the Alfa Romeo and Fiat ranges and some real old beauties! This is a day for enthusiasts (you won’t be alone) but with the village close at hand it’ll be a great day out for all the family. Just follow the signs. For more info see www.alfascot.com.
