The Silverstone 1000km race took place
on 15th August and was part of this year's Le Mans Endurance Series.
The FOC's favourite UK snapper Paul Jarmyn was there and provided
this great collection of the Ferraris which took part.
Ferrari representation was restricted, alas, to the GTS and GT classes
- but the good news is that they won both! The Labre Competition
550M (no. 86) of Bouchut/Lamy/Zacchini took GTS and the JMB 360
GT (no.70) of Daoudi/Rusinov won GT. The two Barron-Connor 575 GTCs
of Deletraz/Hezemans/Piccini (no.62) and Sullivan/Bosch/Biagi (no.61)
were 10th and 13th overall respectively.
The Cirtek (no.92) and Auto Palace (no.97) 360 GTs
fared less well - neither were classified.
