The Scottish Autoitalia day was held at Craigtoun Country club near St.Andrews on Sunday May 30th. This was a new venue for the event which had previously been held at Falkland Palace but such has been the popularity of the meeting that a larger and more family-oriented venue had to be used. The weather for the day was truly beautiful with clear blue skies and no cloud to get owners worried. The Ferrari contingent numbered twelve cars of various tipos, including three 355s (one each of coupe, spider and GTS) , two 348TBs, a 575M, three 328s, a couple of Modenas and a 308 GT4 Other cars included a Lambo Countach and a couple of Diablos, a pair of nice Meraks and too many Alfas and Fiats to mention! Apart from a beautiful Montreal, that is.... Thanks must go to many of the Ferrari owners who allowed children both young and old to inspect and sit in their cars. Further thanks to Dave Dersley and his team for organising and hosting the event, let's hope the weather is as kind next year.
