New Bond Street in London was brought to a standstill
at noon on Wednesday 4th May as a 1956 Maserati 250F drove past
Bonhams' famous sale rooms. Over 100 press and guests enjoyed
the spectacle, which was to promote the 'See Red' Festival to
be held at Donington Park on 3/4 September.
The exciting Ferrari Formula One track demonstrations
of the previous two years featuring cars of the Schumacher era
will be balanced by an international reunion of Grand Prix Maseratis.
The festival will feature the most recent cars driven by Michael
Schumacher and Rubens Barrichello from the 2002, 2001, 2000 and
1999 world championship winning seasons.
The Shell Ferrari Maserati Historic Challenge
will provide some of the rarest and exclusive Italian cars from
the 1950s, '60s and '70s, from the 250s of the 1960s to the 375
and prototype Le Mans cars that competed in the 1970s. There will
be many other races and events too, to find out more click
