There is a thriving social scene, with central events such as the Spring Ball, but it's far from being all black tie and nothing at all to do with old school tie. The Area Groups throughout the country organise a wealth of diverse activities such as run-outs and weekends away in the UK and abroad, often to a place or event of interest, eating out, parties, BBQs and monthly pub meets. The Area Groups also support a number of charity fund-raisers. The highlight of 2007 will be the Ferrari Festival at Silversone on 8-10 June which is also the 40th birthday celebration of the Club. There will be a track parade of 40 F40s and many different Factory-supported races for 430 Challenges and Shell Historics and of course the Corse Clienti F1 demonstrations.
