Scarperia (Florence) 1 April 2007 - A parade of 21 Ferrari
F40s was one of the special features of the main day of the inaugural
Mugello Historic Festival.
The F40 Trophy, a regularity event that preceded the parade on the Tuscan track, opened the celebrations for the twentieth anniversary of this prestigious Prancing Horse model, considered by many to be the ultimate supercar. The event was a late addition to the programme and mirrors the parade of 40 F40s for the Ferrari Days at Silverstone (June 8-10) which has long been planned, amongst other events, by the FOCGB as part of it's 40th birthday celebrations. The Factory states that there will be other F40 events at Hockenheim and in North America. After setting off from the Fiorano track and making a spectacular pass through Florence the F40s made their final approach to the Mugello International Circuit via the famous Futa Pass, one of the most spectacular sections on the Mille Miglia.
