It seemed like our wretched hosting company, Hotchilli Communications, had finally restored this site and got it working after a week of it being down or incomplete.

They originally transferred numerous websites (ours included) to new servers and managed to cock the whole thing up, first of all losing most of the site and then making it so we couldn't update the sections we put back ourselves.

The latest is that they managed to cause the new servers to go down, got them going again, but now there are now huge chunks of this site (and others) missing, which we are waiting for Hotchilli to restore. We've done some of the more topical stuff ourselves, but don't want to do too much in case they disappear it all again.

Incidentally, they state on their website that they are UK based, so we wonder why we've been dealing with someone overseas for much of the time....

The only good thing to come out of this annoying and frustrating episode is the number of enquiries and expressions of appreciation we've had, so thanks and apologies.
