The Silverstone Classic Festival is certainly growing in stature and is doing a good job in trying to recreate the old Coys days, with some wonderful historic racing and an open paddock so that we can all enjoy the cars and drivers close up.

The Club had a major presence there with a large car display area in the infield and a small refreshment marquee. The best weather was predicted for Saturday which not surprisingly had the larger turn-out of Ferraris - in the order of 130 - but it was also kind to those on Sunday with only drops of rain spitting from time to time during the afternoon. 

On that day there was another  good attendance of over 80 cars ranging from a new California back over most of the tipos with a particularly nice 288GTO turning up late morning.
