The latest spy pics all over the internet of the '430 replacement' are said to be of the full body prototype, as distinct from the 430 based 'mules' previously seen. Although heavily disguised, if it is the new car, it certainly looks like it could be more curvaceous and slinky than its predecessor.

Much of the wild talk of V10s, turbos and 4WD has gone away, though mumblings about hybrid power, possibly based on the F1 KERS system, remain. The general consensus though, is that it will have a V8 enlarged to 4.5 litres (though we have heard rumours of a 4.8 from racing circles) plus the two clutch, seven speed gearbox from the California.
