6.10.09 Almost two months after the accident in Hungary Felipe Massa returned to Scuderia Ferrari in Maranello. He was greeted by Stefano Domenicali who had just came back from Suzuka. “I'm finally back home," Massa said "This is my second family and I couldn't wait to see them again, all the people I've been working with for many years and who have been close to me these days. Now I can really say that I start working again. There's lots to do, but I'm happy. I like the way in Maranello.” “It's good to have Felipe back with us," Stefano Domenicali said. "Today we'll have some technical meetings and mainly physical exercise. Felipe has to get back on top: he has a demanding period ahead of him with constant activities, but he knows that we're not in a hurry”. Massa will work with the F1 simulator, have technical meetings with the engineers and do lots of physical exercise. Like Michael Schumacher did when his return was being investigated, Massa will drive an F2007 fitted with GP2 slicks, but it has not yet been decided when this will be, but in any case not this week. He said he wished to thank fans for their support. There has been speculation that Massa might return for the final GP of the 2009 season in Abu Dhabi on 1 November. We send him our very best wishes.
