Rio de Janeiro, 28 November - A crowd of fans and supporters welcomed Felipe Massa at the opening party for the new Ferrari Store in Rio de Janeiro yesterday evening. The new Ferrari Store is located inside the famous “Fashion Mall” in the São Conrado neighbourhood. It covers a surface of nearly 190 m³ and was created in line with the new design concept, developed in collaboration with the Italian renowned architect Iosa Ghini.
The boutique is designed on a single level in which an area characterised by the dynamism of Formula 1 racing and dedicated to the world of the Fan precedes the space dedicated to Lifestyle products, where the leather lining along the wall fittings, the soft lighting and the historic and contemporary graphics create warm atmospheres that envelop the visitor in an unadulterated sensation of the tradition, history and elegance of the Ferrari brand.
The new store will be managed by Via Italia, already a Ferrari partner with the San Paolo dealership.
This is the first Ferrari Store to be opened in South America and is part of the Ferrari brand’s wider retail development strategy. The new point of sales in Rio de Janeiro joins prestigious locations such as those in Rome, New York, Milan, Madrid, Munich, Macao, London, Johannesburg, Los Angeles, San Francisco and Abu Dhabi, with a total of more than 50 official Ferrari Stores worldwide.
