Not content with forking out £150,000 on a Ferrari, one London driver has decided to spend a little extra to cover the car entirely in velvet. The left hand-drive Ferrari 599 was spotted over the weekend parked on a single yellow line on London’s Sloane Street in the upmarket Knightsbridge area.
Customising the 205mph supercar would cost in the region of £5,000 and it certainly caught the eye of bemused passers-by who stopped to take pictures. Many posted them on Twitter with fans of the legendary Ferrari marque, expressing outrage that someone who could actually afford one of the world-famous vehicles could have desecrated it in such a way. The velvet-clad Ferrari doesn’t have it all its own way as a psuede-lined Porsche was spotted on the streets of Chelsea earlier this year.
