The Scuderia Looks To Heaven

It was announced today that 1999 Formula One Constructors champions, Ferrari, are set to sign an agreement with the French Meteorological Centre on 4th February.

The agreement will help enable the Ferrari Formula 1 team who, despite beating off bitter rivals, McLaren, for top constructor's spot last year, failed to secure the driver's title, to better plan which type of tyres to use during a race. It is hoped that this will help either Michael Schumacher or Rubens Barrichello capture the first driver's title for Ferrari since South African Jody Scheckter took home the coveted prize in 1979.

Ferrari chief, Jean Todt, and technical director, Stefano Domenicali, will travel to Toulouse to sign the contract.
