Little Ferrari Interest In Daytona 24-Hour
31.1.00

The provisional entry list for the 38th running of the Daytona 24-hour has just been released.

Many of last year's Ferrari teams have now abandoned the ageing F333SP in favour of the latest sports prototypes from Reynard, Cadillac and Kudzu. It is likely that only two 333SPs will take the start, although with a strong driver line-up, including Alan McNish, Mauro Baldi and Alex Caffi, their reliability over the 24-hours may just give them a decisive advantage.

Amongst the many Porsche 996s in the GT3 class there are two F355s - the driver line-ups include Ivan Capelli and Anders Olofsson, who will both be seen in 360 GTs later in the season.
