The New 550 Barchetta is Presented

The new 550 barchetta Pininfarina has been unveiled to a specially-invited audience of dealers, importers and important customers at Maranello by Luca di Montezemolo.

Whilst the existence of the tipo has been known for a long time the surprise styling elements which no-one predicted were the twin roll-over hoops a la F50. The sportiness of the car is underlined by the sports racing seats, the three-piece split rims and the Fiorano handling package.

The official unveiling to the press will take place on 28th September at the Paris Show and the car will also be at the Birmingham International Motorshow in October.
