After the first nine races of the season, how have Ferrari fared compared to the same period of last year?

Qualifying performance is a little better (seven poles out of eight), the number of race wins is the same (five) and there have been a couple more podium finishes. There are 12 more points this year, although this is entirely due to Michael Schumacher as Rubens Barrichello has, in fact, gone backwards. Interesting is that the Constructors' lead has gone from six points to 41 points and Michael's lead over Coulthard has increased from 12 to 24 points. This clearly shows the resurgence of the Williams team, who have taken decisive points away from McLaren and their driver.
This augers well for another Ferrari/Schumacher Championship, particularly if the next two teams keep taking points away from each other. However, there are another eight races to go......
