So what does this show? Not a lot really - the car is a bit quicker (pole positions), a little bit more unreliable (retirements), and the opposition a little weaker ( Constructor's lead). Remarkable is that the points of both MS and RB are almost identical in 2001 compared with 2000. There is clearly a long season ahead before another Championship can be celebrated.......
